Healthy heart for a brave boy

Little Ivan was born with a congenital heart defect, but doctors reassured his mother, because this is a fairly common defect in children.

Healthy heart for a brave boy

The boy will live, and this is the most important thing! He will need periodic medical examinations and observation by specialists.

And so it happened. Ivan felt really well, developed according to his age and grew like all children. But at the age of nine, his condition worsened, his health became unsatisfactory, and he began to get tired quickly.
Therefore, the cardiologist, who had been observing the child all these years, advised to visit the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery.
The specialists of the Institute conducted a full examination of the boy, after which it became clear that it was necessary to perform surgery and remove the defect. Of course, his mother agreed.
Within five hours, surgeons corrected the vessels in Ivan's heart. He had a good surgery and spent a week under the supervision of doctors in the intensive care unit.
After discharge from the hospital, our hero continues to recover and gain strength at home. Now he is under the careful supervision of doctors and undergoing all necessary examinations. The most important thing is that there is no need for a second surgery! The defect was completely eliminated, and now Ivan is looking forward to a healthy life full of adventures and discoveries.
We were able to help the boy within the Foundation’s project Big Little Heart, whose main goal is to help children with congenital heart disease.
And thanks to the #Charity_chain project, which the “Your Support” Foundation implements together with the Guzema Jewerly brand, little Ivan was provided with all the necessary medicines and medical devices during the operation and during his stay in intensive care.
And the project of our Foundation with Synevo helped to provide the drug "Custodiol", the use of which is extremely necessary during an open heart surgery.
