A Partnership for the Future

This initiative is a joint project of PepsiCo Ukraine and the Tvoya Opora Charitable Foundation. At the project’s launch, PepsiCo, Tvoya Opora, and the National University of Shipbuilding signed a tripartite memorandum of cooperation, establishing a long-term partnership to support young talent.

The program’s goal is to support young professionals, address the shortage of skilled workers in manufacturing, and make the transition from education to employment more accessible for Ukrainian students. It targets those pursuing technical education and eager to develop their skills for future work in modern production environments.

“Supporting young people is a key focus of our work, as they shape the future of the labor market. The grant program with subsequent internships at PepsiCo offers students a unique chance not only to receive financial aid but also to immerse themselves in a professional setting, grow within a global business, and build their career path. We believe that investing in Ukrainian talent today is an investment in a strong Ukraine tomorrow,”
— said Viktoria Pivovar, Head of Talent Acquisition and Assessment at PepsiCo Ukraine.

Learning and Development Opportunities

Throughout the academic year (September 2025 – May 2026), participants will take part in additional educational activities, both at the university and at PepsiCo production sites.

“All of Tvoya Opora’s work is focused on supporting children and young people. We strive to ensure they not only have access to basic resources but also real opportunities for growth and self-realization in Ukraine. That’s why we’ve engaged business partners in this scholarship initiative — our first pilot project with PepsiCo. We believe this program will lay the foundation for systemic support of young Ukrainians,”
— commented Valeria Tatarchuk, founder of the Tvoya Opora Charitable Foundation.

Selection Process

To apply, students must submit an application form and a motivation letter.
The selection process includes interviews and a case assignment. Successful candidates will sign an agreement and become official participants in the program.

Internship and Career Path

After graduation, participants will complete a six-month paid internship (full-time). Those who successfully complete the internship will have the opportunity to join the company in positions such as electricians, technicians, or production operators.

At the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, the program is seen as an effective model of cooperation between business and education. Scholarships from leading companies, combined with practical training and employment opportunities, not only motivate students and improve their professional preparation but also help attract young professionals to the workforce — a practice worth scaling nationwide.
