Vodafone Ukraine, in partnership with the charitable foundation Tvoya Opora, has delivered four modern open resuscitation systems for newborns to the Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. This is part of comprehensive support for the Center, which is currently undergoing recovery after a missile strike. The equipment, purchased by the company for 5 million UAH, has already been put into operation in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
The new resuscitation systems create critically important conditions for providing intensive therapy to the smallest patients who require continuous monitoring and stable support of vital functions. They are equipped with integrated modules for monitoring essential indicators — temperature, heart rate, and other parameters — enabling doctors to respond promptly to any changes in the patients’ condition.
Modern technologies also enhance convenience for medical staff and increase the accuracy of treatment procedures. Each year, the Center admits more than 10,000 children with congenital heart defects.
This equipment is extremely important for infants with the most complex congenital heart conditions, as it allows for maintaining stable conditions and ensuring precise monitoring during the first hours and days after birth. For such children, the timeliness and accuracy of medical decisions are crucial.
