The new ambulance is universal, doctors will be able to provide intensive care and save children and adults during their transport to the hospital.

Ambulance aims to provide assistance to patients who are in danger of death, these are the most urgent situations, when intensive therapy and resuscitation are foreseen in advance. We work in the frontline area and help patients in the most critical conditions, including the wounded. The new ambulance will help us in this. It will provide comfortable, fast transportation of the patients, whose health depends not only on the quality of medical care, but also on the speed of transportation to the medical facility. In particular teams of our center arrive at the locations where women go into labour and provides all the necessary treatment to save the mother and the baby, – Viktor Zabashka, director of the Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine Center of Kharkiv regional council, says.

The resuscitation vehicle has state-of-the-art professional equipment to administer high quality medical aid during transportation: syringe infusion pump, defibrillator, portable ALV apparatus, suction device (aspirator), pulse oximeter, receiving device, transport incubator, packing bag, stretcher.

For us, this is not just an ambulance - it is a chance of saving thousands lives of Ukrainians. This is the second ambulance that Credit Agricole has donated to hospitals in the front-line area this year. Being a socially responsible bank, Credit Agricole has allocated UAH 92 million to charity since the war started. Together with Credit Agricole Group and Tvoya Opora we have implemented over 35 charitable projects and supported 20 hospitals by purchasing expert-level medical equipment. And we are not planning to stop any time soon, – Carlos de Cordoue, Chairman of Credit Agricole Ukraine, says.

The medical center in the Kharkiv region serves 4 perinatal centers. In 2023 more than 100 newborns were assisted here.

Together with the experts, we have selected exactly such equipment that will save children’s lives in particular premature babies, as well as adults. I am very proud of this project due to the fact that there are only two such ambulances in Ukraine in terms of the level of equipment. Both of them were purchased thanks to the financial support of Credit Agricole Bank. It is crucial that business implements charity projects and social initiatives, – remarks Valeria Tatarchuk, founder and general director of the Charitable Fund “Tvoya Opora”.

The distinctive feature of this ambulance is the portable ALV apparatus. It allows to carry out ventilation of the lungs for adults and newborn children. To put it simply, this is the device that teaches people to breathe again, – comments Roman Kormin, chief engineer of Ksenko.

Since 2016, the bank has adopted the powerful corporate social responsibility program “We Care!”. It encompasses three key areas: charity, environmental initiatives and care for employees.
