Children’s Ambulance Delivered to Sumy Regional Children’s Hospital!

The Tvoya Opora Charitable Foundation, in partnership with the JYSK retail chain and singer Svitlana Tarabarova, has raised funds, purchased, and delivered a specialized pediatric ambulance to the Sumy Regional Children’s Hospital. This fully equipped emergency vehicle will become a critical tool for providing urgent medical care to children during the most life-threatening moments.

Valeriya Tatarchuk, founder of Tvoya Opora, shared:“This ambulance is more than just a vehicle — it’s a lifeline for children in front-line regions. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to this effort. Together, we save lives and bring hope where it’s needed most.”

The donation became possible through a fundraising campaign where caring Ukrainians bought charity Scandinavian gnomes, made donations, and helped spread the word.

Oleh Kudriavets, Retail Manager at JYSK Ukraine, emphasized:“Today, JYSK proudly hands over this ambulance to the Sumy Regional Children’s Hospital. Thanks to our customers’ support, children in front-line areas will now receive real medical help faster and more efficiently. Together with you, we are saving lives!”

Svitlana Tarabarova, singer and project ambassador, added:“It’s so symbolic that Ukrainians’ love for these magical Scandinavian figures transformed into a powerful contribution to children’s health and well-being. We are thankful to everyone who joined and supported this campaign.”

Ihor Zmyslia, Director of the Sumy Regional Children’s Hospital, shared his gratitude:“The ambulance is equipped with state-of-the-art resuscitation equipment — including a ventilator, two syringe pumps, a suction unit, defibrillator, and oxygen supply. It’s a top-class vehicle. It will save thousands of lives. I sincerely thank everyone who participated and to JYSK for their heartfelt support during such a difficult time.”
