Kyivstar allocated 5 million hryvnias in charitable aid.

On February 24, 2022, Russia treacherously invaded the territory of Ukraine and started a war. Thanks to our partners, the foundation promptly provides assistance to Ukrainians affected by the war.

Our long-standing and reliable partner, Kyivstar, provided assistance in the amount of 5 million hryvnias.

Thanks to Kyivstar, we were able to purchase:

  • Medications and medical supplies for 14 hospitals in Ukraine from 10 regions of Ukraine;
  • Medications and household items for two boarding schools in Zakarpattia and Poltava regions;
  • Three of our sponsored children were able to undergo critically important rehabilitation.

Medical institutions:

  1. KNP "Novomoskovsk Central City Hospital" of the Novomoskovsk City Council" (Dnipropetrovsk region);
  2. KNP "Ovruch City Hospital" of the Ovruch City Council (Zhytomyr region);

Children's institutions:

  • KU "Vynohradiv Children's Boarding House-Internat" of the Zakarpattia Regional Council (Zakarpattia region) received assistance in the form of household items, namely mattresses, pillows, bedding, towels, etc.
  • "Novosanzharskyi Children's Boarding House-Internat" (Poltava region) received assistance in the form of medications.

Targeted assistance was received by our sponsored children for rehabilitation:

  • Dubovyk Maksym. Maksym, together with his mother and sister, spent 10 days in a cellar in the Fastiv district of Kyiv region. With his diagnosis, this was like a death sentence. But the child is alive and needed treatment and rehabilitation. Therefore, we organized treatment in Truskavets at the Kozyavkin Clinic of Restorative Treatment with meals and accommodation.

  • Danylchuk Maria. Masha, together with her mother, were in Zhytomyr region during active hostilities, heard shelling and hid in the basement. The child, like all children with cerebral palsy, is very sensitive to pain, not only physical but also mentally exhausted. Therefore, rehabilitation where shelling is not heard became their salvation. All other centers except the one in Truskavets are not working, and without rehabilitation, the child loses all her previous achievements. For example, the muscles of the legs and arms begin to stiffen. It becomes harder to simply straighten her arms, not to mention just being able to sit for a couple of minutes without support.

  • Sarandi Antonina. Tonya also hid with her mother, as they were in Kyiv during active hostilities near the city. Tonya's mother raises her alone; she doesn't have a strong shoulder to help in difficult situations. The girl constantly needs rehabilitation. This is as vital for her as air.

We sincerely thank Kyivstar for their assistance and empathy!
