This little one with the beautiful name Solomiya isn't even a year old yet, but she is a true fighter with a huge zest for life.

The mother learned about her daughter's heart problems on the third day after giving birth. During an examination, the doctor heard murmurs in her heart, and the child was sent to the Odesa Cardiology Center. There, the disappointing diagnosis was confirmed – a congenital heart defect – but they assured her that surgery was not yet needed.

The parents continued to feel worried, so they decided to seek additional consultation at the M.M. Amosov Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery. They say a mother's heart knows best, because after the examination by the doctors at the institute, the child was immediately hospitalized.

The girl underwent a serious operation, during which a septum was placed between her ventricles. Solomiya tolerated the five-hour surgery well and then spent six days in intensive care under constant medical supervision.

Fortunately, no further surgery is needed, so our young heroine is starting a healthy life. And we wish it to be filled with bright emotions and adventures.
