Solomiika’s life began in the intensive care unit — right after birth, she could not breathe on her own.

Doctors suspected a congenital heart defect and ordered urgent examinations. After being discharged, the family began undergoing numerous tests and consultations at different hospitals.

Despite everything, Solomiika grew up as a cheerful and incredibly bright child. She was especially happy when her older sister was nearby.

At times, however, when Solomiika cried, her lips would turn blue, she would eat poorly, and she experienced gag reflexes — all of which greatly frightened her mother. Her parents diligently searched for a clinic where she could receive an accurate diagnosis and the necessary care.

After examination at the Amosov Institute, the girl was diagnosed with a complete atrioventricular septal defect. Doctors decided to perform surgery, which lasted 4 hours and 30 minutes — and fortunately, it was successful!

Now, Solomiika’s parents dream of only one thing — for their daughter to be healthy, happy, and full of life. In the future, they hope she will grow up to be a beautiful, intelligent, and strong woman.
