Dmytro’s parents learned about their son’s heart condition when he was seven years old. He was playing football and eagerly anticipating a trip to a sports camp, for which he needed a health certificate. During the medical examination, the doctor noticed potential heart problems.

To receive an accurate diagnosis, Dmytro underwent numerous tests and consultations with specialists at the Amosov Institute. Eventually, doctors discovered an atrial cyst and performed a complex surgery to remove the tumor.

Today, Dmytro feels well, has returned to playing football, and is gradually regaining his strength. Many training sessions lie ahead, but he remains confident and determined to overcome all challenges.

Although he has not yet decided what he wants to become in the future, he knows one thing for sure: peace in Ukraine is the most important.
