Purchased special gel mattresses for the pediatric intensive care unit!

We are very pleased when business companies actively engage in charitable causes and thus demonstrate their active social stance. After all, as experience shows, the synergy of charitable foundations and business is effective in overcoming social problems in our country. This is quality, prompt assistance and the development of a charitable culture in Ukraine.

Our partner, the "Avtostrada" group of companies, regularly helps our wards – seriously ill children. Thus, in September of this year, the company purchased medical equipment, namely two resuscitation systems, thanks to the "Kilometers Save Lives" charity event, for which we and the doctors are sincerely grateful.

This time, the "Avtostrada" group of companies helped purchase 6 special gel mattresses for resuscitation beds in the pediatric intensive care unit of the State Institution "Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology named after Academician O. M. Lukyanova" of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of ¹ Ukraine. These mattresses prevent bedsores and allow for the even distribution of heat from the lower heating in the resuscitation bed.  

Assistance for the "Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology named after Academician O. M. Lukyanova" is very important, because in Ukraine, more than 10,000 children are born annually with congenital severe developmental pathologies and more than 20,000 prematurely. Nursing and rehabilitating such children is a complex process for neonatologists and parents that lasts for months. However, thanks to new technologies, equipment, and doctor training, the number of infants who can be nursed and given a chance at a healthy life is significantly increasing.

The Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology (IPAG) is the only scientific and practical institution in Ukraine that helps newborns with pathologies and premature newborns from all over the country. Primarily those who cannot receive help at their place of residence.
