The Charitable Foundation “Your Support”, together with L'Oréal, provided essential equipment worth over UAH 500,000 to Kyiv Regional Children’s Hospital No. 2 in Bila Tserkva.
The assistance was delivered in response to the challenging situation with electricity supply and heating. The goal is to support vulnerable populations during one of the most difficult winters in Ukraine and to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the medical facility, as well as proper conditions for young patients during prolonged power outages.
As part of the support, the hospital received critically needed equipment, including cables, electric heaters, blankets, and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units. In addition, rechargeable battery systems and inverters were installed in vital emergency departments — the admissions unit, surgical department, and intensive care unit.
The donated equipment will help maintain the stable operation of critically important medical devices, provide backup power to key departments, and ensure a comfortable temperature for young patients.
“When it comes to children’s health, light, warmth, and stable power supply are matters of life safety. During periods of energy shortages, we cannot allow medical processes to stop. That is why, together with our partners, we respond promptly to such urgent needs — so that doctors can continue their work without interruption and children can receive the care they need,” said Valeriia Tatarchuk, Founder and CEO of the Your Support Foundation.
“At L’Oréal, we believe our mission goes far beyond creating beauty products — it is about supporting communities and caring for those who need it most. Today, as Ukraine faces one of the most challenging winters in its history, our priority is to stand by and provide help where it is critically needed.
Supplying Kyiv Regional Children’s Hospital No. 2 with essential energy equipment is our contribution to safeguarding the health of Ukrainian children. We understand that the work of an intensive care unit or surgical department cannot depend on power outage schedules. That is why it was fundamentally important for us to ensure the hospital has light and warmth, so that medical professionals can focus on their primary mission — saving lives — and young patients can feel comfortable even in the darkest times,” said Aliona Bannitsyna, CEO of L’Oréal Ukraine.
Natalia Bigari, the hospital’s Chief Physician, emphasized the importance of the support for both the medical team and patients: “L’Oréal is not only about beauty and care. It is also about warmth, light, and genuine support for our children. The donated equipment and assistance will help us continue operating steadily even in difficult conditions, maintain a comfortable temperature in the wards, and be confident that critically important equipment functions without interruption. For us, this is not just aid — it is a sense of reliable partnership and support at a moment when it is especially needed.”
The Charitable Foundation “Your Support” continues its systematic work supporting children’s medical institutions across Ukraine, providing them with the necessary resources to ensure stable operations amid increased demands and infrastructure challenges.
