2,000 New Year Gifts: Make a Child’s Dream Come True

Starting December 1, the annual charity campaign “2,000 New Year Gifts” is back! For the eighth year in a row, the Tvoya Opora Charitable Foundation together with Nova Poshta is turning New Year wishes into reality for children who live in difficult circumstances or have been deprived of parental care.

This year, 2,000 children sent their letters to St. Nicholas and Santa Claus. A building set, a hat and gloves, a watch, a soccer ball, hair ties, deodorant, cosmetics... Their wishes are simple — things we may find ordinary, but which, for them, feel like a dream come true.

Now, as our country continues to suffer from war, children without parental care especially need warmth and attention. Sadly, we cannot provide each child with a loving family — but we can give them hope and joy. The goal of the “2,000 New Year Gifts” campaign is not just to offer a present, but to fulfill each child’s specific dream. That’s why our team collected personal wish lists from children in advance — to ensure every gift is truly meaningful.

“We deeply need your support to make these dreams come true,” — says Valeria Tatarchuk, founder and CEO of the Tvoya Opora Foundation.

Every child will receive their dream gift, delivered free of charge by Nova Poshta, our long-time partner.

Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Nova Poshta has consistently supported the most vulnerable — especially children. Whether sick or living in orphanages, they experience the world with unmatched sensitivity. The holidays are when they need magic the most.

Anyone can become a secret Santa! Just visit the campaign page and choose one or more children whose New Year dreams you’d like to fulfill. Children from specialized orphanages, care centers, rehabilitation facilities, and those with serious illnesses under the Foundation’s “Targeted Assistance” program are all waiting for your magic.
