The League of Heat

"The League of Heat" is a charity challenge for Ukrainian companies ready to share heat with those who need it most. The company set out to unite responsible Ukrainian companies to guarantee a warm winter throughout Ukraine for hospitals and maternity homes, whose small patients are susceptible to temperature changes.

The "League of Heat" challenge was launched by the charity foundation "Your Support" and the mobile operator Vodafone Ukraine with the support of the Ministry of Health.

Considering the challenges of heat supply this winter and the risks of using traditional sources in wartime, they decided to use alternative heating—heat pumps—to heat maternity wards and hospitals. They are environmentally friendly, reliable, and produce much more energy than they consume, so newborns and young mothers will be warm.

As the first participant in the challenge, Vodafone Ukraine transferred 20,000 euros to insulate the maternity hospital in Okhtyrka, Sumy region.

"It is difficult to overcome problems on your own. But as a group, we can warm many little hearts. After all, as the experience of recent months shows, the possibilities of united Ukrainians are incredible. Today, I am announcing the first 20,000 euros from the Ukrainian operator Vodafone, which will be used to insulate the maternity hospital in Okhtyrka, Sumy region. I pass on the challenge and invite Ukrainian businesses to join the initiative to give warmth to babies," urges Olga Ustinova, CEO of Vodafone Ukraine.

Any company can join; the condition of participation is to transfer 20,000 euros for the insulation of maternity buildings with alternative heating and publicly announce joining the "League of Heat."

How can a company get involved?

1. Choose an option to participate in the challenge. You can contribute €20,000 to a charity fund or pay the pump installation contractor directly.

2. Fill out the questionnaire on the website ligatepla.com.ua

3. The company's CEO posts his favorite warm scarf on Facebook, publicly accepts the challenge, and passes it on to the next company.

After that, the maternity hospital you have chosen will receive a heat pump, and babies and women in labor will stay in it during the winter.
