The charitable foundation “Your Support” in partnership with the regional bank of the Crédit Agricole Group – Crédit Agricole Nord de France – has provided modern uninterruptible power supply systems worth nearly UAH 800,000 to the Kyiv Regional Perinatal Center.

This technological solution has become critically important for ensuring the continuous operation of the intensive care unit and the second stage of neonatal care, where infants with extremely low birth weight receive treatment lasting from several days to several months.

The implementation of this initiative, supported by the partner, helped address the issue of insufficient capacity, as the facility’s existing generator only partially covered energy needs during interruptions of centralized electricity supply. Previously, the limited power capacity forced medical staff to temporarily transfer newborns to other wards, creating additional risks to the infants’ health and significantly increasing the workload of doctors. Now, all medical equipment in the mother-and-child room units can operate simultaneously and autonomously despite external energy challenges.
